Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) issued treasury bills (T-bills) at a total value of EGP 95 billion through three issues on Sunday, 15 March.
The first tranche was valued at EGP 25 billion, holding a tenor of 91 days until 16 June 2026, according to official data.
The second auction stood at EGP 45 billion and will mature in 273 days on 15 December this year.
Finally, the third tranche amounted to EGP 25 billion, carrying a maturity period of 336 days until 16 February 2027.
A week ago, the CEB offered T-bills at an aggregated value of EGP 95 billion.
